Quick reminder: Bring a list of any allergies, especially medication allergies. It's the single most useful piece of information we can have on file.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Do I need a referral to see a specialist?

Not at Bridgepoint. You can book directly with our dermatologists, pediatricians, or OB/GYN team. We do encourage seeing your primary GP first when something might be primary-care-treatable — it's usually faster and less expensive.

Are walk-ins accepted?

Yes for urgent same-day issues — we hold three urgent slots per GP every day. For routine care please book in advance. Most non-urgent visits can be scheduled within the same week.

How do I get my lab results?

Most routine bloods are released to your patient portal within four hours of being drawn. We will also call you about any result that needs immediate attention, regardless of the hour.

What's the after-hours protocol?

Call our 24/7 GP on-call line: +233 24 555 1200. You'll reach a Bridgepoint physician who can advise, prescribe through our partner pharmacy, or escalate to the nearest A&E.

Can I bring my child to my appointment?

Yes. Our waiting area has a small children's corner. Pediatric appointments include a dedicated kids' waiting room with toys and books.

What about prescriptions?

All prescriptions are dispensed by Mediplus Pharmacy next door, which bills directly to insurers and stocks essentially everything we write. Repeat prescriptions can be requested through the portal — no appointment needed for stable chronic medications.

Do you offer corporate health checks?

Yes. Annual screening packages for employees, on-site flu clinics, and executive medicals. Contact corporate@bridgepoint.health for our corporate menu.

Questions before you book?

Our front-desk team — Nana, Esi, and Adwoa — has been with us since 2018. Call them; they're genuinely helpful.
