The coaches

Twelve coaches. One bench.

Every Forge coach holds at least one nationally recognised credential and goes through a six-month internal apprenticeship before they teach a class. We pay them well and we keep paying for their education.

CSCS, USA-W Level 2. Eight years coaching, three at a competitive powerlifting gym in Lagos. Squats 220kg. Coaches Forge Strength and Powerbuilding.

Coach · Women's Strength

NASM-CPT, Precision Nutrition L1. Former GH national rugby sevens player. Built and leads our Women's Strength program — currently 80+ members strong.

Coach · Kickboxing

Former GH national flyweight kickboxer (8-2 record). Boxing England Coach Level 2. Patient with new starters, brutal with the pads when you're ready.

Coach · Run Club & Engine Room

RRCA-certified, 2:48 marathon PB. Designed our Run Club to take anyone — from couch to 10K — through a structured 16-week build. He still runs every session he coaches.

Coach · Powerbuilding

CSCS, BSc Sport Science (Cape Coast). Background in rugby S&C. Loves a slow tempo squat and a well-cued Romanian deadlift in equal measure.

Sena Adom

Coach · Yoga & Mobility

RYT-500, FRC-certified. Trained in Mysore and Goa. Her yoga is the opposite of fluffy — it's drilled mobility work for lifters and combat athletes.
